In June and July of 2006, five South African women (average age 55 years) walked ± 700kms along the old VF pilgrimage trail from Switzerland to Rome. They raised over R50 000 for Homenet Children's Charities.
This is their story - written on their blog in towns and villages along the way.
Ok about the boots. Suggest you buy new ones and wear them for a couple of Kms a day. Then when the old ones fall apart the new ones will be worn in. If they are packing up now then they won't last for another 2 weeks.
Now what happened to Monday's story? Did somebody cut and paste. This was the one typed by Kathy and checked by Rayna. It has together with my comment disappeared.
Thanks for the picture of the VF sign. My wife and I are walking from Germany to Rome starting later this month. I would like to use the sign picture on my website and web log to show others the VF markers like I did when walking to Santiago three years ago.
Our log is started at Rome.WorksAndWords.com while my site with the Camino de Santiago writing is at www.WorksAndWords.com.
